Materials:
Cord 500 meters, 3mm in diameter
Crochet hook 4.0mm to crochet the bag
Slightly smaller hook (2.00mm) to weave and hide the ends of the cord on the wrong side of the work
Lighter to help with securing ends of the cord and joining the cord

Leather Bag handles (optional). Bag handles can be also crocheted with the cord. Other handles, like wood/plastic, can be used as well.
Instructions/Pattern:
This crochet bag consists of three separate parts that are crocheted separately and later joined together with the round of slip stitches. A #Crochet hook is used to join the parts.
Tip: Apply the lighter to the end of the cord to seal the end and prevent the cord from fringing.

Crochet one rectangle

Use an iron with the steam function to iron/steam the parts of the bag.
Place one stitch marker at the 15th DC of one section of the hexagon, skip one section, and place marker #2 after the 15th DC of another section.
Attach the rectangle to the 131 stitches of one hexagon, make 11 SLST on the short side of the rectangle, attach the long side of the rectangle to the 131 stitches of the second hexagon, and make 11 SLST on the short side of the rectangle.
Cut the cord, weave it, and secure the end of the cord. Use the lighter to secure the ends.
Attach bag handles.
